IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
This AP radiograph of the distal tibia of a 13-year-old boy reveals an inflammatory lytic process in the lateral cortex of the distal tibial diaphyseal-metaphyseal juncture with two separate foci that would suggest the diagnosis of a intracortical osteoid osteoma but in fact the pathological diagnosis was a Brodie's abscess.
