CT scan of the upper dorsal spine shows extensive evidence of bone formation arising from the lateral aspect of the dorsal spine and extending out into the thoracic cavity and attaching to the ribs at the same level. There is no evidence of spinal cord involvement. This lesion was removed surgically and proved histologically to be a benign osteoblastoma.
