AP and lateral radiographic views of the tibia show sclerotic changes in the anterior mid-portion of the tibial shaft, causing a slight anterior bowing. There is progression of the fibro-osseous tissue into the medullary canal of approximately 5 cm. This appearance is similar to that of patients with fibrous dysplasia or adamantinoma that can also present in the anterior tibial cortex. Only a biopsy can determine which is the correct diagnosis.
