AP and lateral radiograph of the foot of a 29-year-old female showing extensive lytic destruction of the mid 80% of the fifth metatarsal bone with complete loss of cortical definition and no matrix calcification suggesting a malignant process that, in this case, turned out to be a high-grade osseous fibrosarcoma. A below-knee amputation was performed.
