Sagittal T1-weighted MRI image demonstrates the low signal features of an infiltrative primary medullary tumor of the distal femoral metaphysis with extensive breakthrough into the surrounding soft tissue, both in front and posterior, a distance of 2 or 3 cm, that strongly suggests the diagnosis of a malignant sarcoma.
