IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
Coronal T1-weighted MRI image shows a large signal void in the femoral head, neck and intertrochanteric area with extensive soft tissue breakout into the surrounding tissue a distance of 3-4 cm. This is characteristic of lymphomas of bone as well as Ewing's sarcoma but not metastatic carcinoma.
