A 72-year-old male presented in the emergency room in a semi-comatose state secondary to malignant hypercalcemia due to the extensive osteolytic destruction of bone induced by the malignant plasma cells that stimulate osteoclastic resorption of bone. This lateral radiograph of the skull shows characteristic punched-out lesions in the calvarium, typical for multiple myeloma.
