IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
AP radiograph of the proximal humerus in a 9-year-old girl shows evidence of a recent pathological fracture through a solitary bone cyst in the upper metaphyseal-diaphyseal area of the humerus. There is callus formation at the fracture site laterally. The cystic lesion is thinning and dilating the cortical bone circumferentially and there is sharp margination at both the upper and lower poles of the lesion with no evidence of matrix calcification.
