CT scan through the fourth dorsal vertebra shows that the vertebral canal is completely filled with metastatic colon carcinoma. There are lytic destructive changes seen in the surrounding bony structures. Because of the severe paraplegic nature of this metastasis, the patient required a complete surgical decompression.
