Low power photomicrograph shows the characteristic loosely textured, feathery pattern of nodular fasciitis with swollen collagen fibers infiltrated with many benign-appearing lymphocytes, suggesting inflammatory fibrotic granuloma. Following the surgical resection, there was no clinical evidence of recurrence.
