A 63-year-old female gave a history of an asymptomatic mass located in her thigh for the past two years. This coronal T1-weighted MRI shows a lobulated high-signal abnormality that has the signal appearance of a benign intramuscular lipoma but with some evidence of low signal streaking throughout the lesion that might suggest a spindle cell lipoma or a very low-grade well-differentiated liposarcoma.
