IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
Low power photomicrograph shows small cystic or cavernous areas lined with endothelial cells and loose fibrinous tissue surrounding the endothelial tubes. Generally speaking, with most hemangiomas, no aggressive surgical treatment is indicated unless the dysplasia is very severe in which case an amputation could be considered.
