IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
A 21-year-old female presented with a soft tissue mass in her inguinal area that had developed when she was a young child. The mass grew gradually over the years and then developed small vesicles on the surface that would intermittently drain a clear lymphatic fluid. This axial T1-weighted MRI image demonstrates mixed low and high signal abnormalities in the inguinal area anterior to the hip joint leading directly to the surface of the skin.
