IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
Sagittal proton density MRI shows the intermediate signal of a large tissue mass arising from the thecal canal of the upper sacrum. The mass protrudes out through the S2 foramen on one side, presenting as a large retroperitoneal tumor mass anterior to the sacrum. It produced minimal symptoms of pain in the area because the chronicity and benign nature of the disease.
