AP radiograph of the pelvis of a 16-year-old female with neurofibromatosis shows a very large soft tissue mass filling the entire right hemipelvic area with bulging both intrapelvically and extrapelvically. The development of the mass was quite rapid over a one year period, arising from a previously benign neurofibroma. The patient had severe pain locally and sciatic deficiency in the right lower extremity.
