AP radiograph of the pelvis shows further geographic lytic lesions on both sides of the pelvis, especially the iliac bone, as well as the inferior ramus of the pubis on the right that would suggest the diagnosis of polystotic fibrous dysplasia, Ollier's disease or, as in this case, Hand-Schüller-Christian disease. One might also consider an infectious disease such as tuberculosis. This patient had soft tissue visceral involvement of the chest and abdomen that required adjuvant chemotherapy. The girl survived for about six years and eventually died of pneumonia.
