IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
A 15-month-old boy presented with a fever, anemia, malaise, loss of weight and generalized osteolytic changes throughout the entire skeletal system. This lateral radiograph of the skull shows aggressive lytic destructive changes throughout the entire calvarium, some of which are geographic in nature with sharp margination, suggesting a histiocytic process such as Hand-Schüller-Christian disease or Letterer-Siwe disease, which is the case here.
