Lateral radiograph of the distal femur of a 48-year-old female who had this X-ray taken because of trauma shows a heavily calcified, floccuated matrix pattern within the medullary canal of the femur that has characteristic features of a benign enchondroma. There is no endosteal erosion and there are no periosteal changes.
