IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
Radiographic appearance of the reconstruction 15 years later at which time there was no sign of local recurrence. However, there has been definite proximal migration of the acetabular secondary to subsidence after the autoclaved autograft gradually disappeared. The patient had one inch of shortening but was still able to walk quite well with a minimal limp. There was no need for further reconstructive surgery.
