IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
A 55-year-old female presented with symptoms of pain and limp in the left hip of six months duration. This AP radiograph of the hip shows a lytic process in the supraacetabular area with a faint suggestion of matrix calcification, giving the impression of a primary central chondrosarcoma of the acetabulum.
