IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
A 77-year-old female presented with symptoms of pain and stiffness in her right shoulder for two years. AP radiograph of the upper humerus shows lytic changes in the proximal end of the humerus associated with a soft tissue mass bulging into the axilla with a calcific deposit in the soft tissue, suggesting the diagnosis of a central primary chondrosarcoma of the proximal humerus.
