Sagittal T2-weighted MRI shows a fairly large high signal abnormality in the proximal tibial metadiaphyseal area typical of a large cell lymphoma. Due to minimal cortical destruction, the patient responded well to chemotherapy, did not require local surgical treatment and was alive and well five years later.
