A 16-year-old girl presented with symptoms of pain in the knee for two months. This AP radiograph of the knee shows evidence of a permeative lytic lesion in the lateral distal metaphyseal portion of the femur that on biopsy proved to be an aggressive but benign giant cell tumor. Initially, the lesion was treated by curettage and packing with autogenous bone graft from the iliac crest.
