AP radiograph of the hip in a 67-year-old female who had mild symptoms of intermittent pain in the hip area for most of her life. It shows a lytic lesion located in the inferior head and neck area of the hip joint that on biopsy proved to be a synovial hemangioma. It had been present most of her life causing chronic erosions into the anterior and inferior cortical structures of the head and neck area, associated with mild chondrolysis.
